This installation consists of a single photograph, text, and a drawing. It aims to celebrate the life and death of our beloved cat Apollo (2009-2018) whom we lost prematurely in South Turkey. It conveys a universal message channeled through a seancé with Apollo by the animal interpreter Christin Quander in 2019.
Therefore, it encourages the viewer to reimagine the notion of communication with our feline friends and ultimately with all the other(ed) nonhuman animals in the world. Where do you stand in this communication? How and what do you interpret?
